Dissidia Aces - Cycle 4 Round 3 - Mira VS Penelo

Here is my submission for the 3rd Round

Ok, I beat my own record of time spent on a drawing... I'm dead

My Mira (from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles : My Life as a Darklord) against  KaigaraProjects's Penelo (from Final Fantasy XII) in Macalania Woods (from Final Fantasy X).

I know that there are no Tomberries in Macalania Woods, but as all monsters from there were not cute enough (and as I decided to draw only cute monsters for Mira), I choosed Tomberries, Mira's favourite monsters and friends. Even if I'm not totally happy with the results of them (it's difficult to makes mouvements/actions with them, you can trust me ), I'm pretty happy with the lantern

I also like Mira's face expression a lot. She's so proud of her Tomberries

Penelo was quite difficult to draw as well. I like this character so much, and if my watchers remained, it was my character for the 1st Cycle of this tournament The position was hard to draw and as her clothes are stucked on her skin, we saw it very good. I hope that there are not too much mistakes on her

About the background, I'm quite proud of it (probably the best I did so far). I used some references found in the net, that I mixed to make what I wanted (I drew everything myself, even if I needed references). The water reflects were done using some effets on Photoshop. That was the fist time I used these tools. It was also the first time I drew something so dark. I had to change all my habits for colors and the rest. That's probably why this drawing took me so much time.

I know that there are still a lot of mistakes, but after drawing on it every day from the 3 last weeks (every week-ends and all my evenings until 23h00 after going out of my work), I'm just dead, and I need to rest now... I just hope that the next round will not be started as soon as the last one.
